Dr. Savatta is an excellent doctor, incredible surgeon, extremely knowledgeable, informative and I felt confident in receiving expert medical care. I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, stage 2. I appreciate Dr. Savatta for taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. Surgery was performed, robotic partial nephrectomy. Everything went smoothly. 60% of my kidney was saved. No complications after surgery. He has been a godsend in my cancer journey. I went to West Orange and Rahway Office. Both are great medical offices. The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. It is worth traveling two hours to see Dr. Savatta. Highly recommended!

Dr.Savatta cares for my Dad and performed Urolift which reduced his frequency to the bathroom by 60%. My Dad is 95 years old and recovering comfortably with none to minimal pain after the surgery. After the surgery, he can move around with no discomfort, business as usual. Dr.Savatta has a lot of patience, listening and explaining in details of the surgery. Highly recommended.

Robotic surgery 13 years ago out of the hospital the next morning never had any pain. I've been with him ever since.

The office staff messed up several times. First, they didn’t process my insurance authorization bec they said I didn’t need one for my CT scan. Second the first prescription they gave me was incomplete. When i got the new prescription, it didn’t match the insurance authorization. When i called the office for verification of the order, i had to wait a while for a call back response so i had to sit and wait in registration before i can get the answer i needed. Very inefficient. They don’t know what they’re doing. They don’t communicate with each other or don’t read each other’s notes so they are all on the same page and get my prescription and authorization right the first time. So frustrating...

Office never faxed reports to either primary care or second urologist i see in NY, despite saying they would and despite my giving them the info. Then 10 days after procedure, when i called to ask them to send it, they said I'd have to come in to sign new releases. Then when i asked for copy so i could transmit myself to make sure the other drs got, they charged me $19.00 for the copies. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

Glad I stepped up and met Doctor Savatta.I had some issues but was nervous about doing anything.Doc took the time to explain what needed to be done and how he was going to do it.I had the Resume procedure first and Robotic surgery on my bladder later.Both went well and recoveries were quick.It has changed my quality of life.Dont hesitate to meet this man if you have any symptoms.Thanks Doc.

Dr Savatta recently treated me for prostate cancer by performing Robotic Surgery to remove my cancerous prostate. I was in the hospital overnight and back home the next day. Everything went smoothly. He is very a caring and makes you well informed what he will do and how you will recover. I am very happy that I chose Dr Savatta and would recommend him to all. My recovery is going great as I just hit the 3 month mark of post surgery and am cancer free. I am a male age 63.

Dr. Savatta is an extraordinarily gifted robotic surgeon and highly respected in his field; but, just as important is the fact that he is very personable. He was very clear in explaining the surgical procedure and took the time necessary to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. Great surgeon, after suffering for a number of years of prostate problems which got progressively worse Dr. Savatta performed the robotic prostate surgery. The outcome was great, feel like a 20-year-old.
