Dr. Buzzacco performed a very successful surgery on my daughter. But he never spent enough time with us other than the appointment before surgery when he was trying to convince us to do surgery. He always seemed rushed after about 1 minute of being in the room. He isn't the most sensitive person. Not that he has to be but it is a much nicer experience when a doctor has empathy. Overall very competent but not 100% informed about the rareness of a condition. He gave me statistics like 1/500.000 when it is really 1/about 5.000-10.000. He also didn't recognize something that was happening in my daughter's eye which didn't end up being a big deal because we see another ophthalmologist who knew exactly what was happening.

Dr. Buzzacco needs training in customer service, disability awareness, and trauma informed care.
