Dr. Dominic C Cefali, MD

DR Cefali did a double bypass today on my 64 year old special needs Aunt. While she came through the surgery ok, he came into the room berating her Sister( my Step Mom) and her Brother for her care(She lives in a group home-they are not the daily caregivers!) and My Step Mom was there in spite of the fact that she was supposed to be having her own triple bypass today-that she postponed to be there for her Sister!!! ( and he was totally aware of that) and now she is under undue emotional distress that is putting her own surgery at risk!! Totally unprofessional and inexcusable!!

This man is rude, hateful, demeaning, and needs to quit being a dr and go apply to be a preacher in a church somewhere. He preached to me the entire time he was in my hospital room.

Dr Cefali ,in our opinion, is a terrible man. After my dads surgery, cefali refused to talk to the family. He would not schedule a meeting or any other communication with us. We were just looking for updates and information that we would never get. Hospital personnel were shocked at his treatment of us too. I would never recommend this doctor based on our treatment. He still to this day refuses to speak with us, well after dad died.

He is always so nice and thourough...takes extra time which cam save my life later and he is easy to talk to.

My husband had a cardiac cath in Jasper, IN where blockage was found. The cardiac doctor there called Dr. Cefali in Evansville to schedule an appointment--an appointment was made that same day and Dr. Cefali met with us, talked with us and was able to schedule surgery for the very next morning. The surgery went great and my husband is doing very well in his recuperation so far--still in the hospital, but we are both very impressed with Dr. Cefali, his staff and the staff at the Deaconess Gateway.
