Quite possibly THE WORST run office and doctor in this state. Completely absent and removed from the "quality care" aspect for patients. Do you want an appointment?... Good luck getting one when the doctor is only in ONCE a week and just at Noon. But that's not even the worst part of this entire experience. The office staff is the epitome of horrible. Literally cannot be dealt with. Do you need an emergency visit? Do you need an emergency referral to see a specialist because your in agony? Once again, good luck with that when the office staff have a complete lack of empathy for patients, and fail to have a sense of urgency for the people they are meant to help. Get ready for roadblock after roadblock. Get ready for the most terrible experience with a doctor and his staff of your life. Find someone else. Anyone else. Words of wisdom.

To receive a prior authorization for a brand medication by filling out a form and faxing it to an Insurance company, seems to be outside of the expertise of the staff, especially the rude, incompetent nurse. They don't return phone calls and just completely do not care about the patient's need for a medication.

I had a recent health setback that hit me completely by surprise. Dr. Maggio was very thorough and quite reassuring. I am OK now and really have him to thank for it. Great personalized care.

I absolutely adore Dr. Maggio. He has been my doctor for many years and we have aged together. He takes the time listen to what I have to say. He remembers everything from the last visit and all my personal information. He is the best internist in Miami! And, his staff is amazing!!

Dr. Maggio is fantastic. I always go to him when I am on death's door, and he has me well in days. He is kind, caring, and deeply interested. He spends a great deal of time taking a history, listening, and watching your reaction to pick up on the nuances of what may be going on. He is unfailingly pleasant and a pleasure to be around. His diagnoses are spot-on.
