Dr. Dominick Imundi Golio, MD

He is a good doctor. BUT, the people he has working for HIM,his office staff, are incompetent, unwilling to help patients beyond taking the fees from them. In particular a Lu Ann seems to have all of the authority to satisfy a patients requests and needs. She is never in the office, denies patients access to their own medical records. Patients do have rights and one is total access to medical records. My PCP waited two weeks for her to fax my records to him. I had an appointment with my PCP so he could set me up with the specialists I need. He never got the fax. My medical treatment is now delayed, Dr Golio is on vacation. Lu Ann needs his O.K. to fax them. She did not do that two weeks ago when first asked. Dr. Golio will never see me again. Lu Ann should be replaced.

I have been a patient of Dr. Golio's for the past 4 years. During that time he has performed two surgeries on me, and provided on-going follow up treatment as needed. I can't speak highly enough about his level of expertice and caring bedside manner. Go to him; you won't regret it!

I would recommend him to anyone that has been injured and is in need of reconstructive surgery. In addition to his ability as a resonctructive Surgeon, I have seen his cosmetic patients while I waited in his office on Park Avenue and they looked amazingly natural. He has a wonderful ability to put his patients at ease. Highly recommended and worth the office wait.

Incredibly skilled doctor. He took care of my child's lacerations with confidence and skill even thought my child was panicking he put him at ease and the laceration healed beautifully. You cannot tell he was injured.

My son was hurt in a baseball accident and Dr Golio performed the surgery needed to correct the fractures in his face. He is a great doctor with a terrific bedside manner he is caring and attentive. I am greatful for having met him and would recommend him highly to anyone.

My boyfriend recently suffered serious injuries in a bicycle collision. I am so thankful Dr. Golio was our doctor. I cannot rate him highly enough. I wish _all_ doctors were as communicative, caring and exceedingly competent as this man. Because of his excellent surgery and follow-up treatment, my boyfriend is recovering well.

After the accident, we were trying to find a doctor for facial reconstruction, Dr. Golio was the first doctor to call us back and did so very quickly. After our intial consultation, we knew that he was the doctor to be with. He was knowledgable, caring and understood the needs that we wanted. We were also amazed that he could do the surgery as out patient, which saved us a lot of money. Other doctors said the hospital stay would be 2-3 days. His bedside manner was impecable. His follow ups are thourough and he listens to his patients and talks to them like friends rather than preaches to them. He is a very caring man, and an exceptional doctor. I would reccommend Dr. Golio to anyone who needs reconstructive/plastic surgery. He is one of the best.
