Summary

Dr. Long has been inspired by many people, but his grandmother and mother are his biggest inspirations as they developed his thirst for reading and research, as well as his love of puzzles and games. His reward and inspiration to continue to practice medicine is seeing those he treats get better and improve their lives. The thanks he receives from families when they have a loved one who is now active in their lives or returning to independence is such a joy. Outside …of work, Dr. Long likes to fish, read, do puzzles, and attend his daughter’s college soccer matches.
