Summary
I grew up in the south end of the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. After completing my Bachelor of Science in zoology at Brigham Young University, I moved to the Pacific Northwest to attend optometry school in Oregon and have lived in Oregon or Washington ever since. I am married and so far, we have three sons and five grandsons. I've always had an interest in math, science, and physics; optometry was a way of combining these interests into a profession in health care. My patients might be interested in knowing that I currently serve as the Eye Care Chief for the Washington East Region.
