Dr. Donald William Ayres, MD

I brought my Uncle to Dr Ayres. He was very thorough in discussing things with us together and then testing my uncle. He took input from both of us and was very respectful. He seems far more capable than the other doctors my uncle has seen both here and in Ohio.

I was very impressed with Dr. Ayers. He listened carefully to what I had to say about my symptoms and responded professionally and appropriately. He was very thorough in his examination. He took the time to explain his findings even to the point of drawing diagrams. He did extensive testing and I never felt like he was rushing through my appointment. He was very professional and knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He followed up my visit with an extensive written report. I would highly recommend him.

All neuros are different. But this one is just rude and closed minded. He didn't listen to one word I said during every appointment. My second opinion, which he frowned on, resulted in me immediately terminating all contact with him. I canceled the appointment twice and they still tried to make me pay for missing it!! much better out there. may be smart in terms of MS and a few other diseases, but my money will not support terrible customer service.

I have seen him multiple times for various procedures and check ups. He was very protective and not open to discussion of options regarding care and or diagnosis. My wife was extremely dissatisfied and I eventually changed providers. I have called them 4 times and left messages with no return call. I will not support terrible customer service and neither should anyone else.

This is a cold, cold man who is neither compassionate nor competent. I strongly recommend against seeing him.I have a degenerative disease that he missed diagnosing for over 8 months. He was dismissive of my claims and condescending even in the face of being wrong. He never admitted any of his mistakes. I wish I had not waited so long to get a second opinion.
