I called and asked the receptionist if I could make an appointment with the Doctor, and was he taking new patients? She said, it depends on your insurance and what you want to be seen for. I said, I have insurance and she promptly replied STATE Insurance. I said, noooooo. I explained that I have migraines & nausea every week and before, I could tell her that I'd been seen by a chiropractor for adjustments & acupuncture for the last two months...she interrupts me and said, we are not writing any more scripts for anyone, you'll have to go somewhere else. Wow! I made an appointment with my primary care in Lee's Summit, which I should have done in the first place. I am semi-retired and have private insurance with a company I worked for 30 years. I have never been treated this way by a doctor's office. I really don't know what else to say...it was awful.

I have seen him for only 2 issues, which were handled well. He leaves it to the patient to ask about details of diagnosis, etc. My wife thinks he is quite good so that influenced me a lot in changing to this more local doctor.
