Dr. Donald James Beno, MD

Dr. Beno is wonderful. I see a few negative comments about his concern with grades and this is one of the things I love about him. Also, I love that he inquires about behavior and character and encourages our son to do his absolute best in all matters and will even tell him that he is capable of more. We love being backed up like this and our son says he likes Dr. Beno. Constructive criticism is not a bad thing!

My children have been seeing Dr. Beno as their pediatrician for 12 years. We are very fortunate for the high level of attentiveness and care we receive at each visit. The nurses are always wonderful, too.

As a child I had this pediatrician for a short while. It was the worst experience I've ever had had with a medical professional. I would constantly go in sick with strep or sore throats, and before this creature would even take the time to check me out he would say I was fine. I went in having an attack and he looked at my mother and said I was seeking attention. The way that he tested me for asthma was to have me run up and down the stairs and then have me blow into a flow peak meter. When I couldn't blow hard enough he stated that I wasn't trying hard enough, well turns out I do have asthma and always carry an inhaler with me. He spent about 40 minutes one day talking about my grades and making me feel bad about them. Then proceeded to bill my insurance for the 40 minute visit and still left with no medication. I switched doctors and on the first visit with the new doc. she referred me to have a tonsillectomy ASAP. I have also met people who have horrible things to say about him.… I highly suggest to do your research and find a different provider.

Not a good doc at all. Says lots of things that are not accurate

I have been going to Dr. Beno with my son since he was 2 weeks old (5yrs now). He was always kind and caring and professional.

He has been my son's doctor since birth. My son is now 2 1/2 and he is comfortable with Dr. Beno, and so am I. His bedside manner is terrific. He's such a nice and gentle doctor. I highly recommend him.

I am sorry, but when my 4yr old daughter is waiting to be examined in nothing but a gown, I do not to hear "lets play" from a grown man before he checks her out. Inappropriate!

Dr. Beno has been my son's doctor for 3 years and he has been fantastic, often going above and beyond. I feel comfortable asking any questions, he treats both my son and I with respect and my son LOVES him.
