Dr. Donald Joseph Boatright, MD

Dr Boatright is very knowledgeable. I worked under his supervision as a nurse for the TN Dept of Corrections for over 10 years. I learned many things from his mentorship there. Years later, when I managed a Womens Health and Maternity Clinic in Ashland City, TN, he began working in an office at our local hospital, and we had the chance to reconnect. Once again, he was an invaluable medical resource. I observed that a woman (Pamela), who not only managed his current practice, but was part business owner of the practice, was very deceptive and controlling in her nature and she would deceive Dr Boatright about business matters and carry on business during his absence, without his knowledge. He is an old school physician; a trusting and naive gentleman and had trusted her to do her job with integrity. Sadly, she had financial motivations and greed that did not include a cornerstone of integrity. It was sad watching the aftermath, for as a physician, you are held responsible for… the actions of the non-physician personnel working "under your supervision", for when you have a medical license, everyone in the employ of a company you partly own, is legally under your supervision; even if it is another partial business owner. In this aspect....yes, you are considered to be "your brother's keeper"! I will always have the deepest respect for Dr Boatright as a physician. He has treated my youngest son on several occasions, when he had no insurance. I have worked side by side with him with ostoent's from all walks of life and found his medical knowledge to be extensive and his medical mentoring invaluable!

He yelled at me for asking for a Dr note for my shoes.He yelled at me for grinding my teeth in my sleep . He yelled at me for crying. I heard he was allegedly lost his licence at one point. Don't go and see this quack.

Referred to him by primary care physician for spinal stenosis pain management.All he asked was if i snored.He wanted to send me to a sleep clinc.Which he just happened to own.If you will check,you nwill find he lost a malpractice suit to a Tn.Peneteniary inmate while he was under contract to provide medical treatment to inmates.Need i say more?
