The only RN on staff that day took 45 minutes to find my vein to begin an IV. I previously informed the office I was a hard stick and requested I go to my primary MD to have this done as they hardly ever miss the vein doing bloodwork and Dr. Boudreaux’s OFFICE REFUSED. Dr. Boudreaux’s office and medical staff WERE RUDE TO ME AND MY FAMILY MEMBER I brought with me and did NOT BILL MY INSURANCE as previously promised. I HAD TO REPEATEDLY ASK DR. BOUDREAUX’S OFFICE STAFF TO BILL MY INSURANCE UNTIL I GAVE UP AND CONTACTED THE INSURANCE COMPANY MYSELF.

I had a dental implant done that cost almost $5000 out of pocket. Before my visit and on the day of my visit I told them I was a very hard stick and finding a vein would be hard. I was reassured that it would not be a problem. It took the RN 45 minutes and several sticks with the needle to find a vein and start an IV on me, I was sweating and crying as they started to imply it was my fault. Then they asked if I was willing to do the oral surgery procedure AWAKE. When I came out of anesthesia, they were not even willing to answer my questions and rushed me out of the office. The insurance biller did not bill my insurance with the correct information until the third time we asked in a period of 3 months after the procedure. I recently went to see another dentist and told him about my experience and he said that it was not the first time he heard a story like mine and that I should say something.

I WILL START BY SAYING HOW WONDERFUL MY SON AND I THINK OF DR. BOUDREAUX AND HIS STAFF. I CANNOT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I ACTUALLY RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE ACTUAL "DOCTOR" NOT HIS NURSE TO CHECK ON MY SON AND TO REASSURE US THAT IF WE HAD PROBLEMS NOT TO HESITATE TO CALL HIS OFFICE. I ALSO WANT TO SEND A BIG SHOUT OUT TO BROOKE FOR TAKING CARE OF ALL THE SCHEDULING AND NUMBEROUS PHONE CALLS FROM ME (MOM) AND BEING SO KIND!! ALSO TO MR BOUDREAUX'S ASSISTANT WHO HELPED ME GET MY SON TO THE CAR AND EXPLAINED ALL THE RULES FOR US TO FOLLOW SO THAT HE COULD HEAL CORRECTLY. I RECOMMEND IF ANYONE NEEDS ORAL SURGERGY (DR. BOUDREAUX'S) OFFICE IS THE PLACE TO GO, BEFORE I WAS REFERRED I HAD NOT HEARD OF THEIR OFFICE, BUT CAN GUARANTEE IF IN THE FUTURE WE NEED WE WILL RETURN. THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND TAKING SUCH WONDERFUL CARE OF MY SON.
