Dr. Donald Paul Buhrer, MD

Dr. Buhrer is a great plastic surgeon, he makes you very comfortable with his jokes and understanding personality. I had a breast augmentation in May and I am very happy with my results. Not only is Dr. Buhrer an amazing doctor but the entire staff was very friendly and professional. From scheduling my original consultation to each follow-up appointment everyone made me feel comfortable and accommodated.

Dr. Buhrer and his staff are absolutely top notch! From start to finish I had the best experience with a lower face lift/neck lift and upper blepharoplasty that I could have imagined. He is super knowledgeable, honest, patient and kind and truly does great work with a natural look. There is a reason why he has been in business so long and his nurses have been with him 25 + years! Don't look any further in the Annapolis area!

My mommy makeover was something I wanted for over 10 years. I actually chickened out of the surgery two times, and boy am I glad I did. When I turned 40 something just clicked, and I was going through with it!!! I had two friends that did not know one another tell me about Dr. Buhrer. I saw his work up close and personal and needless to say I was impressed. I went to him for a consultation and scheduled my surgery within a week. I am more than satisfied with the results of the surgery, and feel comfortable in my skin again. Dr Buhrer and the staff at Plastic Surgery Specialists of Annapolis where top notch. They made me feel so comfortable I wasn’t even nervous the day of surgery, and trust me when I tell you I had a few anxiety attacks leading up to the surgery. This was the first time I had ever undergone anesthesia and was so scared of the unknown. The recovery was better than I could have ever imagined. I truly feel the staff genuinely cares for their patients comfort… and wellbeing. I hope anyone who chooses to undergo any cosmetic procedures is lucky enough to have an experience like mine.

Dr. Buhrer has given me back my confidence. After having 4 kids and one c-section my abdomen had taken extra skin to another level. Dr. Buhrer brought back my abdomen to looking normal again. After my tummy tuck surgery and my first office visit I believe the huge smile I had on my face answered Dr. Buhrer question of how was I feeling. Even though I was in pain the results were amazing. Dr. Buhrer and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. FANTASTIC WORK!!!!

I went to Dr. Buhrer thinking I wanted botox, dermal fillers, and/or possibly a facelift. He told me (1) "You don't need Botox: that's for your forehead, and your bangs cover your forehead." (2) "The rest of your face -- there is no point to doing surgery on it. It would do you more harm than good -- you don't need it yet. The only thing I would do is lift your eyelids." He did this very minor and relatively inexpensive procedure (outpatient, local anesthesia), though I had literally been asking him to do much more. He straight out declined my money because he believed that I didn't need anything more, and he told me so. This cost him thousands of dollars in fees I would have gladly paid, and saved me months of bills, pain, and time in recovery. THIS is an ethical doctor. Also, he is sweet and funny, caring, responsive, and his staff is just like him.

Dr. Buhrer and his office and medical staff were/are great. If I was rich I could keep them in business fixing up my body issues forever (had gastric bypass - even after years of exercise still had layers of skin left over) lol!!! Dr. Buhrer and his staff are the ONLY people that I would want working on me and I would recommend them to anyone who would listen. From the beginning, even until today (still going through recovery) they have been great. They have kept me informed about any and all issues in relation to the surgery, answering all my question, never leaving me in the dark (as some doctors do) which I am extremely appreciative of. There has always been a terrific disposition of all staff from my initial consultation, surgery, follow up, etc. I don't know how many thank yous I can say but THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Paul Buhrer is fantastic! I would highly recommend him and his office to anyone. He has truly changed my life. I appreciate the amount of time and care he afford me both prior to my surgery and after! It was a huge success for me!

Having my surgery with Dr. Buhrer was a very wonderful experience. I felt comfortable with the entire experience and the staff was also very trusting and reassuring, helping to ease any last minute jitters I had and made me feel comfortable post-op. The nurse, Maria, provided wonderful assistance and made me feel even better about the process as a whole.

Hubby was just in his office for -post cancer surgery on his face. He had a nasty "hole" resulting from skin cancer surgery. Dr. Buhrer was excellent-so very nice and so very very competent. He amazingly fixed the gaping hole and now it is healing nicely and hubby is getting back to normal life. Thank you Dr. Buhrer ~ and Sharon ~ his great assistant. Whole experience was easy -after a very stressful event. My grade? A+
