Dr. Donald Richard Chabot, MD

I went to the emergency room where he was working I had pains in my intestine. He pushed down on my stomach then he sent me for an x-ray and when that came back he says there's nothing wrong with you you have nothing on the X-ray we can see I said there is something wrong and then that was that he gave me the bums rush out the door I called my PCP he said come in he got me an appointment with the chief of the gastroenterology department of the local hospital the next day he's at a sigmoidoscopy and then send me for an emergency surgery. Maybe with some patience doctor chabot is good but he certainly wasn't with me he didn't even do a good job of investigating what was wrong and when he made up his mind that there was nothing wrong he didn't want nothing to do with me no more

I wish I could give no stars. HORRIBLE bed side manner. I went to the ER crying in excruciating pain and he told me I was lying about my pain and nothing was wrong with me. I also called him sir, he apparently didn’t like that and proceeded to say, “don’t call me sir, call me doctor.” A miserable man, who seriously should have his license taken away. There was something wrong with me, I have Bell’s palsy and TMJ. F

That’s right you read it correctly he, and his equally horrible nurse staff, made me cry. I know dealing with covid isn’t easy and all but bedside manner is still a thing you do not ever yell at a patient, especially one who’s exhausted and terrified.

No compassion

This dr told me there was nothing wrong with me . I have been in excruciating pain for 3 days straight i went in there first they did a urinalysis followed by blood work. Doc came in said everything looked good we need to do a catscan. After scan comes in and tells me there is nothing wrong with me. Meanwhile i go outside and call my pcp freakin out and she looks at my urinalysis within a few SECONDS says theres urine in your blood you have a uti. AND to top it off the associate who came to take my blood and do my iv had NO GLOVES ON. Scared of what i might have caught and contacting my attorney.

I honestly can't think of one thing nice to say about this doctor!!! He may be good in the ER but he is sub par in his getting along with people. Good luck to anyone needing him !!!
