Dr. Donald Nelson Cotler, MD

We scheduled our appointment at 3:15, and we waited for almost an hour to get Cotler to see us. He was just sitting in a room chatting with laughter. The entire exam time was probably just 5 minutes. During the exam time, the doctor only spoke to himself. He made no effort in listening to us at all, as if we were non existent. The receptionists were chatting among themselves all the time, as if we did not exist as well. This is a highly disrespectful and utterly disorganized place.

My son was born with a heart condition that Dr. C noticed as soon as he visited him in the hospital. He provided outstanding support to my son and my family during the surgery and still to this day. My son is now a happy and healthy 9 year old. I have known Dr. C for over 20 year with my first and she saw him until she was 19.

My son has seen Dr. Cotler for 14 years. Before school walk-in hours of 7:45-9:00 a.m. have been a godsend about a dozen times. Very active in community. Warm, as is his staff. Haven't always agreed with his prescriptions; ie. amoxicillin doesn't work as well for my son for strep and sinus infections as Zithromax, but Dr. Cotler prefers amoxicillin as first course of action. Love the guy. Kathy (main receptionist) is terrific. Prompt returning calls.
