Extremely unprofessional, rude, appalling behavior. His license should be revoked

My husband made a virtual appointment through LiveHealth Online as it's difficult to get an appointment with a healthcare professional right now. After my husband explained his situation, the "Doctor" apparently forgot he was on camera. He actually got a disgusted (my husband's words) look on his face, and then hung up on my husband. He turned his chair away from the computer, and it was then my husband disconnected. It wasn't surprising he didn't receive a callback, as it was obvious Dr. Curran actively hung up the phone. Later, my husband received a cancellation stating the intake form wasn't complete and that he would not be charged. For someone who has already struggled to get the help he needs and has a strong distrust of doctors, specifically Psychiatrists, to get that kind of reaction greatly affected my husband. He actually told me, "It's a good thing I'm not suicidal right now." The entire encounter was completely unprofessional, and I will be making sure everyone is aware of… the lack of professional behavior displayed by this mental health provider. All it would have taken was a statement, "I'm not the Psychiatrist for you." or perhaps, "I see you missed a section of the intake form, we will need to cancel this appointment." My husband was hung up by a doctor who is supposed to help those struggling with their mental health.

I have had him for the past few years. He was always attentive to my needs and took excellent care of me. I love Dr. Curran, you don't find many like him anymore!

I see him via telemedicine as I am in Michigan and he is in Arizona. I think he's a wonderful psychiatrist, but getting prescriptions is difficult due to being in different states. He's prompt in writing the prescriptions but the staff at the clinic where I go do a horrendous job doing the rest! I realize that's not his fault and probably out of his control.

I see Dr. Donald Curran out of Alpena Regional Hospitals Behavioral Health Outpatient Services ... VIA WEB CAMERA --- due to my residency in Harrisville Michigan an his Place of such is in Arizona. This Dr. has taken very much my needs an concerns an utilized them into that of what can benefit I myself the Patient. I am not a number # to him I am a patient in need. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder most of all which has had an will always be a issue for me . With continuing treatment an guidance I feel this Dr. Is amongst the 1% of Doctors who care. I am very much pleased to be a patient of his an I would love for him to be able to read my review of him . Thank you I appreciate guidance an help I'm offered through this Doctor. He is extremely well versed an Highly Intelligent for his patients. This is a great doctor.
