Doctor D' Alessandro, is a outstanding doctor. I recently had surgery in my home town and they couldnt fix my problem. They reffered me to Doctor D and from my day 1 visit, my surgery, and my check up I knew he was a great doctor and fixed me well. Charlotte is very blessed to have such a wonderful doctor and staff at orthocarolina! I would suggesy him if you need something fixed

Dr. D has great bedside manner and is widely known to be one of the best shoulder surgeons around. With that being said, be prepared to wait! He is a very busy man and I waited for over an hour on two separate occasions. He is very friendly and down to earth! He did an excellent job with my shoulder. However, I would say I was very dissatisfied with the education (or lack there of) on what to expect post-op. The staff/physician did a poor job on educating me and my spouse. This seems like a small thing, but it turned out to be a huge issue. We were not prepared for the level of care I needed post-op, and this was due to lack of education. Other than that, he is an amazing physician.
