Dr.Douglas is busy, busy, busy, but he takes time to make you understand what is happening with your body and listens well.

Dr Douglas is one of the few Drs. we know who will take time to talk to the patient intelligently and is compassionate. He cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to help others. He even provides a free Clinic to help those who do not have Health Insurance. He has always gone above and beyond duty. He is a veteran and we greatly admire him. One last note he treats our entire family. We will not go to another Dr.

I searched for years for relief from my Seemingly disjointed symptoms. My first visit to Dr Douglas, he made sense of my symptoms. Lab results confirmed his diagnosis. With his combinations of meds, vitamins, etc., 6 months later, I am functioning 90% better than I have in a decade. I give Dr. Douglas ??????????for his compassion, knowledge, and treatment! I thank God every day for sending me to Dr. Douglas Stratton Douglas!

The receptionists are rude and hateful and treat patients as though they are a burden to them.

Goes above and beyond. This is a top notch doctor.

i went to docter many years ago for 3 yrs found him attentive and helpful i know he doesnt like to sit and socialize while others are waiting. i felt very confident in his diagnois. we all tend to use our drs. as sounding boards but he likes to keep others in mind when treating us . his time is best used getting down to the ailments not your personal tramas dont mean to be rude but facts are facts i've been out of ark . but have returned and intend to use his clinic

I love Dr. Douglas! He is compassionate, yet professional! He listens and does the best he can to give us the best care and treatment possible! I only wish I could speak to him between visits by phone!

Dr. Douglas seemed like he was going to be great in the beginning. My grandmother first went to see him, and loved him after her first appointment; so I decided to see if he could help me as well. He told my grandmother that he personally calls his patients back if they have a problem or question about something. That was a lie. I know most doctors don't do that, but don't say you will do something if you actually don't. I also would like the say that the way the entire office is run is a joke. I work in the medical field, and am an office manager myself, so I have a little experience in dealing with patients. The woman at the front desk apparently does nothing but answer the phone. She knows nothing about what's going on other than to maybe tell you what time you have an appointment. Generally she will transfer you to one of the other fifteen extensions they have, and you will have to leave a message instead of being able to actually talk to a person. Once you leave a message, be… prepared to wait a day or two or maybe even a week for a call back. They also are apparently incompetent when it comes to referrals to other doctors. I've had to have a referral sent to a specialist twice now, and still have heard nothing about that after waiting two weeks. I'm going to go ahead and guess that the second referral was never sent either. I was so hopeful going into this office as Dr. Douglas seemed like he had suggestions for my problems that other doctors had never even brought up. I was sorely mistaken. I hate to write such a terrible review for another doctor as I myself work for a doctor, but I just wanted to warn others who may be thinking that this office can cure you. Maybe someone else with have better luck than I've had.

This has to be one of the most humiliating experiences in my life. I personally had never had a problem with Dr. Douglas - it was largely his rude, uncaring and incompetent staff. After several years as his patient, I saw one of his ever changing PA's - Courtney Malone. She flat out lied about our interactions, said I walked out on her among who knows what else. Then Dr. Douglas saw me the next day for a regularly scheduled appointment and "fired" me as his patient after years of care. He wasn't even interested in hearing my side of the story and even told me the only other time he'd done this was with someone who had sexually harassed his staff. Did this Dr seriously just compare me with a sex offender?! I was then escorted from the office by TxPD. His staff was just gloating. I am absolutely dumbfounded by this whole thing. I am not one to complain about physicians, especially because my wife is one and I realize there are two sides to every story. This was just too much,… however. Now if I can just keep my wife from reporting Douglas and Malone to the Texas Medical Board... By the way my phone has the recording app, so I have the whole debacle on tape. If I could give him zero stars I would.
