Dr. Donald Ray Fulsom, MD

VERY INCOMPETENT Dr. Fulsom and his staff are far from the professional and expertise you would except from someone in such a field. When he saw my son he wanted to put him on meds right off, this is a 10 year old doing perfect in school and conduct by the way. When my son was put on it he threw up immediately. he fails to follow court papers such as custody and child health concerns. When called to cancel an appointment that was made without my approval the receptionist was rude, hanging up the phone. When we called Dr. Fulsom about the issue he did the same.. This is the worst Dr we have ever came across. If you want the best for your child this is far from it.

I have 2 teenage boys with Autsim. Never had a Dr that helped as much as Dr Fulsom. He is very easy to talk to and I have NOTHING but good things to say and we have been going there for years !

Extremely incompetent and rude. Slow to return calls, slow to get prescriptions to you and then when I did get a return call Mr Fulsom, doctor does not apply to him. Told me my child was no longer a patient of his and hung up on me.

Being under an extreme amount of stress....I made a mistake on the time of my son's appointment. This mistake is mine and mine alone. HOWEVER....upon arrival....the brunette that works the front was anything but forgiving or kind. She was just downright RUDE!!! When I got there and she told me that my appointment was at 11:30 and not 2:00 I did say no I swear it was at 2:00.....that I even got the confirmation call.....This is my mistake....but her reaction and how she dealt with me was far from professional. She was curt and had the audacity to say "well your appointment is come and gone".....I work the front office of a very busy dental practice....NEVER EVER DO YOU SPEAK TO A PATIEN LIKE THIS!!! She didn't even attempt to act kind or even offer to re-schedule a new appointment for us!! I drove for over and hour to get there and even said so. She was huffy and rude and held no regard for the difficulties that a patient and family seeking help with a counselor should have been… offered. I didn't ask her to let us see him then. She could have been kinder and offer a new appointment. She could have shown a smidgen of compassion to a family who is in desperate need of a person for her suicidal son to speak to!!!!

We have been to see Dr. Fulsom regarding our daughter for ADD/ADHD. He has made a comment that his role has been only to prescribe her medication only, not to evaluate her. He asks her 1 question every appointment, "How have you been doing?" That is the extent of it. After experiencing bad side effects on medication, he refused to change it saying it was better to experience bad side effects we know about than possible bad side effects we don't know about on a different medication. He is rude and completely unsociable. He prescribes medications that her pediatrician can easily prescribe and would give more feedback to parents. He is a waste. His staff is always unprofessional and never knowledgeable about insurance. If I could give these "1 star" sections NO stars, I would. There has never been feedback to parents and parents are treated as though they are ignorant when asking questions.

My experience with this doctor was poor...a total joke he put up a good front his receptionist was extremely in professional in person and on the phone he was. I been driving two hours away just so he could spend no more than ten minutes with my son explaining nothing. And then on my visit to said he would not see my son anymore bc we lived to far away but we made every appointment on time and never missed an appointment. This guy is a joke I would never see him again. The receptionist says they have appointments every ten minutes am sees up to 50 60 patients a day.... I'm sorry but how do u treat any patient with only ten minute visits?? That' all I can say

This is a doctor that is all about the MONEY, maybe if you are white it's a different story. You wait 30 minutes to get to the back and you are back there long enough to write out the prescription. In our last visit he asked a total of 2 questions to my child and we were dismissed. He is NOT compasionate in any way. By the way this fool charges you a $5 fee for him to rewrite a Rx just for not getting it filled in time.

We have had a very wonderful experience with Dr. Fulsom and his staff. Always friendly and caring. We had an episode after hours and he answered our concerns and made her an appointment for the next morning. He has helped us through the last 4 years with the ups and downs. He takes the time to talk to my child and ask her questions about what she is feeling. I would have to say I have never been so satisfied by the care we have recieved in this office. They are thorough and take the time to even have a note for the school ready for us. Its worth the 45 minute drive to get there.

Dr. Fulsom is a very intricate Dr in that he takes the time out to get to know his patients rather than simply trying to pump them with pills. He is compassionate and concerned with the whole child. He is community oriented and believes in the success of all children whether they are considered "normal" or not. My experience with his treating my son has been comforting in that he listens to me as well as my son and makes his decisions based on being fully informed. He works along side the schools as well and avails himself to the extreme. My son thinks the world of him.

He has had the same receptionist for the last 2 years, he also has a young man working in his office. My son has been seeing him for two years and Dr. Fulsom is absolutely wonderful! Personally the female receptionist is rude and plays by her own rules, I am not sure if he is aware of how condescending and unintelligent his receptionist sounds and acts, but I think I will inform him at our next visit! It is obviously a problem and not just with me. She seems to make her own office policies and does it differently with different people!
