Dr. Donald Hammer

Dr. Hammer’s resident left me waiting in his examining room for 2 hours before he came in. My appt. was for 1:15. I arrived at 1:00 and he didn’t come in until 3:00. He never apologized. This is not the first time this has happened. I intend to find another cardiologist.

This Doctor has mental a problem and lacks the qualities of a good doctor. I do not know his Professional competency.

I have had Dr. Hammer as my cardiologist for about a decade now, ever since my mitral valve was repaired at the Cleveland Clinic. He is busy with his work managing his department, but has always treated me with respect, demonstrating genuine concern for my continued well-being. Although I have not needed to call him directly, he has given me his cellphone number. I like that his appointments are not "rush jobs" and that he takes all the time needed to make sure you are getting the care you need while offering advice for improving your health.
