Dr. Henagan’s greatest satisfaction comes from teaming up with his patients to fulfill their dental needs. Understanding patients' point of view and focusing on his patients' needs enables him to help them achieve the smile of their dreams. Dr. Henagan feels that one of the things that make his practice unique and special is the awesome, dedicated team that takes pride in treating each patient as family. Building a team where understanding the importance of comfort and compassion for each patient is his most important daily endeavor. He works diligently every day to find new and better ways to deliver the best that dentistry has to offer... Creating Smiles to Last a Lifetime.
Education
Dr. Henagan earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in 1980 after graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree from McNeese State University in 1976. In order to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Henagan continues his …education through participating in the Pride Institute, the Pankey Institute Comprehensive Dentistry Continuum, and the LSU Cosmetic Continuum.  He is one of two Cerec dentists in the state working to train and mentor fellow colleagues on using Cerec Technology in New Orleans, LA.

Outside the Office
Being involved in his community through coaching youth athletics and volunteering at local schools has always been important to Dr. Henagan. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, water sports, bike riding, and traveling with friends and his wife, Kelly, and children, Logan and Abigail.
