Dr. Donald Faxon Hill, MD

Dr. Donald F. Hill was our family PCP for over thirty-five years. He is an excellent physician and never once failed to meet our medical needs. Dr. Hill treated us with the upmost respect and we consider him to be a family friend. We wish him the very best in his retirement and any future endeavors.

Dr. Hill was rude. He misdiagnosed me and did not call to follow up when he had lab results. Suffered weeks with a urinary infection. Horrible bedside manner.

Dr. Hill may seem impatient at first, but if you give him time to get to know you, you'll find he is courteous and conscientous about those that elect to use him as your internist. I use him as my main doctor as I am diabetic. He is always open to discussion about one's thoughts and feelings.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. No bedside manner. Very rude.

I will never go to Dr. Hill again. He was condescending, unhelpful, impatient, and unprofessional. He advised me several times that I needed to take off work and make an appointment during the week as he could not help me at the Saturday clinic. I let him know I was there because I was told to come in if my back pain got worse and it is difficult to make an appointment during normal hours as I work Monday through Friday 8-5, his response was that he cannot fix my back and I need to make a regular appointment. He suggested multiple times that I was only there for pain medication and seemed very put out that I requested something for pain as the prescription I was given from my last doctor visit seems largely ineffective and will end before I can even make an appointment with a physical therapist. I emphasized that the pain has gotten worse and that I was specifically told to look into physical therapy and request something stronger for the pain if it did not get better or got any worse… within two weeks. It has been eight days since the initial appointment and the pain is considerably worse, he prescribed the same medication in an amount that would last four days. I believe I would have been given better care and treated with more respect if I had gone to the woman that neutered my dog.

Dr. Hill is very rude, unfriendly, & appears not to care. I explained symptoms prior to illness, he acted as if he didn't hear one word. Had to miss two days of work due to illness prior to visit at clinic. I asked for a doctors note excusing me for work missed, without hesitation he said NO!!! If this doctor cares, he fooled me!!!

I find Dr Hill to be honest and blunt. I like drs like that. He doesn't waste my time and I try not to waste his. When I need him he's there. If I need a long visit he talks with me. I like him.

Dr. Hill accepted me as a new patient with a big smile and warm handshake. I was completely at ease with him and found I could 'open up" to what was really bothering me.

My family and I have had to deal with this doctor for over 7 years due to our parents regular family doctor passing away. As most elderly people - they didn't feel that they had a choice to change doctors.If I could give this doctor a minus review - I would be inclined to do so! My sister has seen him embarrass our elderly parents in his clinic by his mouthy attitude!I know about HIPPA - but at some point when you are dealing with elderly people who can't hear well and don't understand what they are being told; it is time to visit with the children and explain what is going on. I had the audacity to ask him to explain a part of my Dad's treatment...You would have thought I had questioned his medical knowledge. I have worked in the medical field for many years so I am familiar with the medical field. He is without a doubt the most arrogant person I have ever met!!! He seems to try to make his patients and their families feel "stupid or inadequate". If you have heard of doctors… with the "God" syndrome - here he is in the flesh!I honestly don't see how he keeps patients!I totally agree with the above person - he is definitely a smart alec (I have a tendency to us a stronger term for him.)

I have used Dr. Hill for several years. I find him cold and unfeeling ands sort of a smart alec. I am looking for a new Doctor. I have given Dr Hill several years to warm up and stop being such a smart alec. The only reason I stayed with him is, it always takes time to get to know and trust a new doctor and for him to get to know you. But I am leving now.
