Best experience I’ve ever had. While waiting for a referral from another dentist for a root canal consultation my tooth became abscess (because dentist didn’t give antibiotics). Dr. Hooie was able to see me quickly and started me on antibiotics and did my root canal a week later. ALL the staff are absolutely wonderful. The bad reviews he gets for his personality are ridiculous. Anyone who can take a joke will love his sense of humor! He checked on me multiple times throughout the procedure and was very thorough and kind. I now have a new dentist.

I was sent to collections for refusing to pay a charge 5000% higher than what I was quoted, despite being assured my insurance was taken there. The filling was also very low quality and caused me a lot of pain. For the love of God, do not give this highwayman your money.

Dr Hooie's office had me and my wife join this monthly fee program for semi annual cleanings, then when I asked for them they said, OH NO, that will cost you $750 more each ! I was upset to say the least! He took over $1700 total from us! And will not give it back! We've gotten no services from them! He is a professional crook as far as I'm concerned! Put off ranting till I calmed down! And let me quit before I say worse!

They treat every customer like a cash cow. They over sale dental work. You will need thousands of dollars of dental work if you go to this guy. They even finance because you will need it if you go there. Straight thieves. STAY AWAY!

I wouldn't go back. He said I had bone loss, every tooth had a cavity, gums receding, needed about 12 crowns. Some of the teeth already had crowns (2 years old), but they needed replacing also. The only reason I went there was because my dentist moved out of town. I had seen him only months ago & I had never been told any of that. I did not trust his diagnosis at all. Seems to think people are idiots.

The worst office visit, I've have ever had. I take care of my teeth. I've seen a dentist every six months since I was a child. Just moved to the area and had been to my old dentist, 6 months previous. He told me my teeth were in excellent condition. Hooie found everything wrong with my teeth that added up to thousands of $$$$ of work. I was out of there before they could even ask when I wanted another appointment. Went to another dentist in town, who told me, "your teeth are in great shape". Beware of Hooie. Actually, he doesn't even have a good personality.

Wants to do HUNDREDS of dollars of work. Have to prepay deposit to hold appointment slot. He's paying for that HUGE building and seven employees, so he charges a LOAD for his services. Runs between appointments to get you in and out like a herd of cattle. Will not even CONSIDER my comments - just brushes them off and repeats his EXPERT opinion, which I've determined is often a CROCK of BULL. Patronizing. The entire freaking office repeats instructions like you're a moron. Unfortunately, now I can't start with another dentist to get X-rays until next year because of my insurance limit of 1 X per year. Didn't check if I was numb, started to drill, suddenly hit a nerve, and hurt me like #(&$. Then got an attitude towards ME for flinching! PLEASE FIND SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU NEED A DENTIST. PLEASE. YOU'LL BE DOING YOURSELF A FAVOR.

Dentist only concerned with how much $$$$ he could get out of you/insurance. rushed rude talked to hygenists/staff like they were trash. Rest of stsff and office were nice....
