Dr. Donald Thomas Hudak

Well,Praise the Lord, Dr, Hudak is a great Dr. He has always been frindly,cordial and help me to know what the procedure that vhe is going to do for me. Thank you Dr.Hudak. [the honey guy].

I'm giving him one star because I had to! I had ptosis repair with a blepharoplasty over a year ago. I have had to have multiple surgeries to correct his incompetence. I'm sure CEI had a good reason to get rid of him. I'm not the only one he has done a poor job on. I have been in touch with three other people who are in the same predicament as I've been in and had to have corrective surgery from his mistakes. You have been warned!!

Would give him no stars but you can’t do this on this site so the one is a gift. Had blepharoplasty with ptosis repair. He had to redo one eye. My eyes were still not right so had another surgeon try to correct. The scar he left me on my one eye that he had redone is horrible. It’s bumpy and can’t be covered with makeup. All he told me to do is apply scar away that I have been using for over a year and has done nothing. Heading to a plastic surgeon to see what can be done. Totally get why CEI got rid of him. You have been warned! Don’t use him for anything!!

I am beyond disgusted with him. We were referred by pediatric craniofacial and ophthalmology due to a severe injury to my toddler’s eye. Hudak brought a “witness” in with him to our exam room and immediately asked if we were pursuing legal action for his injury (which I said NO), then basically said he couldn’t help us. I couldn’t believe it. He refused to evaluate my son, yet still charged a copay, for fear of a lawsuit that isn’t even happening. I asked if he could at least tell me what’s causing his eye to bulge and open wider (he said “maybe he just lifts his eyebrow too much on that side”… completely false). I asked what’s causing the large bag under that eye and why the eye appears so much larger (he said “he probably smiles harder on that side”… doesn’t even make sense! He wasn’t even smiling). I wish I could post photos to show how ridiculous his statements are, but don’t want my son’s photos on the internet. This man took an oath to help people, and broke it for fear of a… nonexistent lawsuit that wouldn’t involve him anyways. He needs to quit practicing as a “doctor”. Also his office canceled our 1st appointment at the last minute. Rescheduled and waited almost 2 hours to be seen.

Dr. Hudak is a fine surgeon but always late. He is consistently behind schedule. My experience has been that you will see him 1 hour after your appt time....including surgery. Frustrating!

Ptosis and blepharoplasty surgery - he had to fix my eyes during a second surgery because shape of eyes were so uneven after the first. I was awake during both surgeries. He stitched the right eye and told someone else "ok, now you stitch the left." After, while taking stitches out, his technician took a long time on left, saying "why did he stitch the left eye so tight"! I asked about that scar during every follow up visit and he never addressed it. A year later, right eye is fine, the left has a lumpy uneven scar that can't be covered even with makeup. Beware
