Dr. Donald Eugene Hura, MD

Currently sitting at Doctor's Hospital while they prepare to remove the inflamed appendix from my husband that he has been dealing with since JULY. THIS DOCTOR REFUSED TO REMOVE IT SINCE JULY AND HE HAS BEEN IN PAIN FOR MONTHS.

Dr. Hura operated on my grandpa when taking out his gallbladder (one of the biggest he’s ever seen) that was misdiagnosed twice at Mount Carmel, my grandpa to this day still speaks on this surgeons kindness, empathy and respect he exhibited. He stopped in frequently to check his pain and ensured it was well controlled. He updated our family frequently. I would highly recommend this doctor.

They don't answer the phones, he doesn't listen to the patient or other doctors regarding patient care. If I would have known then what I know now, I would have chosen another surgeon! I had surgery by him over a year ago and am still having issues, but now the issues are due to his incompetence. Please do yourself a favor and go to a different Dr.

Worst care I have ever received! Did not call back in a timely manner even to ER ! He reportedly ER MD to have me call his office the next day to be seen immediately only to find out his office is closed!!! "Relies" heavily on voice mail yet they do not call back. I chose to go to him even though he is not in my insurance network (which will cost me more out of pocket) because the hospital I work for does not do the surgery that I needed (he is close to my home).

As we seek medical attention, we are not aware of our chosen physicians rank in his class. We do not know if we are being treated by the A student or the D student . As I have found with my experience, Dr. Hura was AAA+++

Dr Hura, is a very nice, patience, understanding doctor. I like him because he just stand there and let you talk and talk about what you feel is wrong with you and then he tells you and he do everything he can to make you less stress, less painful, and less upset. I think he is a very good doctor.
