Dr. Donald Louis Jacobs, MD

As a patient of Dr Jacobs nearly 15 years ago he replaced a graph in my leg and did an excellent job. Recently when I needed his expertise I called him up to do the surgery but to my surprise this guy had really changed- for the worse! He had become arrogant, bossy, insensitive, and downright offensive. I knew doctors sometimes straddle a high horse the more they are practicing but this guy had lost ALL touch- by insisting boldly and rudely that I agree to a particular alternative to surgery. When I refused and requested transfer to another facility he said that I would have to pay the ambulance UPFRONT. When I protested he stated not to bother and that the facility would pick it up. Ultimately, I did receive that bill and the experience was a nightmare. I had the surgery done elsewhere successfully but in his zeal for performing cutting edge procedures to advance himself unfortunately my interest was 100% tanked! Was it because I’m a native or was he just looking to stick achievements… under his belt? You call it but one thing is for certain, I won’t be going back to him.

He saved my leg. He is an excellent doctor....one of the best. I have complete confidence in him.
