Dr. Donald Raymond Kacy

Our experience is very similar to another review, we had used Dr. Kacy for many years, my daughters all complained about how rough he was doing any work. I thought they were being overly sensitive but then my wife experienced the same. We were contemplating moving on but then a new dentist joined the practice and we liked her so decided to stay with her, unfortunately she left the practice and now we have as well. Similar to another review we also experienced Dr Kacy wanting to do a lot of repair work and painted a pretty grim, and expensive picture. I received another opinion and only very minor work is needed.

I have been going to Dr. Kacy for 12 years, and he is very knowledgeable, but several times he has scared me by saying I may need work (ie, root canals) that I didn't end up needing/having. He also is a bit rough (large fingers). I love the convenience and staff, and I think he does care about his patients, he just makes me anxious everytime he examines me...I plan to switch dentists because of that.

I've been going to Dr. Kacy for all my dentist needs for more than two decades. He runs a very professional and high quality practice. He not only knows his stuff but also knows all the local experts if I need to go to a specialist.

I think he is great. He has always done good work on my family. He is a little gruff, so you might not realize he cares. He has been honest with us and works to help us hang onto our teeth. I hope he does not retire soon.
