Dr. Donald J Linder, DO

I will never see this doctor again. He is incompetent and doesn't know the first thing about cardiac illness. He is more than willing to spout off how many years of experience he has but can't back it up with simple medicine. He is rude to his patients and staff. I heard him yelling at someone on the phone. Very unprofessional!

Worst experience ever in the ER. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Seems like he has a hard time separating his short fuse/personal problems with his professional practice. My daughter saw him in the ER, after injuring her neck/shoulder, lifting something heavy at work. He asked her to lift her arms up in a certain way, and when she slowly started lifting her arms, he yelled at her and said, "No, like this!" as he made the gesture in a rapid movement, as if she were too slow for "HIM". Next he asked her to move her head from left to right, and again she started moving her head slowly, as this was one of the pains she was complaining about. I was mortified by what he did next. He rolled his eyes, sighed, and abruptly grabbed her head with BOTH of HIS hands and jerked(yes, I said jerked) her head all the way left and right. Told her she pulled a muscle, take ibuprofin, and she was fine to go back to work. When we asked about a weight restraint he acted like she was… faking her injuries and said he could probably give her a 10 lb work weight restraint. Really? She couldn't even lift a cup of coffee. She fought back tears until we finally just walked out. Needless to say, she left the hospital in more pain in her neck than when she came in. Went to a real doctor a few hours later who said absolutely NO LIFTING! This doctor spent alot more than the 90 seconds Dr. Linder gave her, and did all of the appropriate tests, prescribed her anti-inflamitory meds and pain meds. Said no lifting. Need to get the obvious swelling down, and would need physical therapy and possibly an MRI to detect any herniated disks he suspects in her neck. Pretty serious stuff. The doctor we went to said he could not believe what Dr. Linder did to her neck. It was inappropriate and unprofessional in every way. He also could not believe the lack of tests he did and said her hospital report was the shortest report he has ever seen. My daughter has a long haul ahead of her, and Dr Linder has not seen or heard the last of us. Just a note (we've never sued anyone in our life.)
