"There was a lot of 'sighing' by both..." Same exact experience and didn't return phone call

After 3 months waiting to see this Dr due to the coronavirus, recommended by my dentist, I was turned off by the Receptionist when I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. As I step into the reception area, I was abruptly told to stop where I was, and was admonished that I not enter. I was told only 2 people were allowed in the facility at one time. How was I to know how many people were there? There was no other people in sight. I was handed a clip board told to go out of the office and my car to complete the document and would be called when I could come back. I was turned off by the way I was handled, and promptly gave her back the clip board and left. What a horrible impression. I have read other reviews like the one I am giving and maybe this doctor doesn't deserve the reception potential clients are given. A shame the doctor doesn't get a review.

I saw Dr Liu on two occasions, both on Tuesdays, and was very pleased with the root canal he did. He explained everything that he was doing and answered my questions. His assistant was horrible. This person was unsympathetic, barely spoke two words to ease my fears and was so rough with the instruments. My mouth and face were luckily numb but still you know when someone is using more force than necessary. Obviously, I won’t be back.

STAY AWAY unless you want a very unpleasant and painful experience. Very unprofessional staff and Doctor. I was treated like a dog by the assistant. Chair-side manner was non-existent by both. She didn't introduce herself when I was called in. She didn't tell me who she was or what her role was. She just started asking questions as if she had no clue why I was there. (Hello? I'm here for a root canal) Very unpleasant demeanor. No smile, no attempt to be made comfortable. She was 'rough' handling me throughout, very abrupt with her actions, noisy, slamming down instruments on table, and completely unsympathetic. At one point I was trying to speak and she said 'TALK!' after removing the mouth protector. So disrespectful. Novacaine had to be reapllied 3 times. Pain during the procedure was met by defensiveness by the Doctor. There was obvious tension between the Dr. and assistant. There was a lot of 'sighing' by both, with no explanation. Very unprofessional. Take your money elsewhere!
