Dr. Donald Herbert Lussky, MD

I saw this man two years ago for migraine headache. He did not listen to my symptoms, and what is worse, prescribed too high dose of medication that made me very sick. What happened with: first do no harm? Moreover, completely missed my MS diagnosis. Treated me an idiot and belittled me making fun of my chronic migraines. I am shocked he is still practicing! It took a real neurologist to diagnose me and take care of me as a human being. I regret not reporting him to the board. Shame on you Mr. Lussky. You lost your privilege of being called a doctor long time ago!

He is the worse that I have came across. I don't respect him as a doctor at all. My love one could have died had me and my family decided to move our love one.

This was a referral by primary care doctor.

seen him in Elmhurst Hospital was not crazy about him he diagnosed me before all the tests were in and was wrong.

I was having a hard time with my MS and tried to see him. He gave me an "emergency" appt. 10 days later and treated me like I was making all the symptoms up. Very arrogant. Told me twice that he kept the office open late for me but when I came out of his office there were 2 other people waiting. I cried the whole way home as me made feel like an idiot. No bedside manner whatsoever. You're out of luck if you call on Friday because he only calls back late on Thursday nights. Find another doctor!!!

I've been going to him for almost 10 yrs now. Even though he may seem arrogant, and stand offish, he is extremely knowledgable and an excellent doctor. He is straight to the point, doesnt mess around and gives his expert care. He's a no nonsense doctor, who is honest and dedicated to give his patients. Give it a few visits with him, he will loosen up. I even make him laugh now, we have a great doc/patient relationship. Even though I've moved further away, I wouldnt think about seeing another doc.

What a jerk! I missed my appt,he calls me and says why aren't you here,or missed your appt..its called life,things happen! And I apologized and said,i.forgot 2 reschedule appt,and he hung up on me! A jerk! Pls make ur appt,otherwise he'll scoled u lik a child,for missing ur appt! There's too many other nice,and more pleasent dr's to deal with that...good luck,and be there! Lol!

He's immature, insecure, nerd-like (but what Neurologist isn't!)

I Am A patient of Dr.Lusky,for 5yrs. Although I have seen him less than 10 times and only out of necessity. He has a very intimidating and demeaning Attitude toward me. Not the most personal person you'll every meet,although he comes across as he knows everything.I read in the magazine that comes to my house from "MS World", that it is very important to form a good strong relationship w/ your Neurologist. I dont think thats ever happened w/any of his patients, unless they work for a pharmaceutical company!

HORRIBLE DOCTOR DO NOT GO TO HIM. VERY RUDE AND UNCARING.
