Dr. Donald Michael Mccarren, D.O., F.A.A.N., F.A.A.N.E.M.

Dr. Mccarren is very understanding and caring. He explained everything that we need to do very thoroughly.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. McCarren and the complete staff at The Memory Treatment Center.

Neurology is a broad field. When a doctor does not know about a condition, I wish they would admit it rather than let the patient decline. Dr. Maccaren allowed my father to go into a myasthenia gravis crisis under his supposed care. He is incompetent and should admit when he is in over his head.

Dr. McCarren is a very personable doctor and does not hurry the appt. He takes all the time he needs with his patients and I have never found a better doctor than him.

I met with Dr Mccarren last week for undiagnosed symptoms I’ve had for over 11 years. He was caring, attentive, thorough and very easy to talk to. He even called me personally after a test to check in with me. I feel as if I may finally have some answers as to what’s going on. He spent a great deal of time talking with me and listening to me. I’d highly recommend him!

I saw Dr. Donald McCarren with my 71 year old mom this past week to have her evaluated for an on-going hand tremor. This physician visit was like none other that either one of us had ever experienced before in our cumulative 60 years of nursing experience! Dr. McCarren was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with!! Such warm, friendly, jovial bedside manner that put my mom's worried mind at ease. He treated us as intelligent medical colleagues which made us both feel respected and heard. He spent an hour and a half with us obtaining a full history and exam...his high intelligence and wit shining through the entire time. My mom walked into his office visibly nervous about the possible diagnosis that lie before her and then after spending time with him, walked out of the office with a much lighter step, her worries alleviated (even though she still had to undergo testing). His office staff was extremely available to our needs and immediately got my mom the authorization from insurance that she… needed for testing. I would HIGHLY recommend this office and Dr. McCarren to anyone with any neurological needs...TOP NOTCH PHYSICIAN!!!

This Doctor is wonderful and he is very funny. Makes you feel comfortable and takes his time with you. He is like an encyclopedia of knowledge. He told me more about my condition than anyone else. I would recommend him. Joanne in the office is very nice also. This was my first visit.

I have been seeing Dr. McCarren for years. He is caring and personable. The appointment is never rushed and the staff is very helpful and courteous.
