Dr. Donald Jeffrey Newport, MD

No idea how there is anything less than 5 stars here. I would give more if I could. Dr. Newport is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and extremely thorough. He clearly knows his stuff, which is evidenced by even a short glance through his many research publications. I feel lucky to have stumbled across him. The only thing I can think of is that he was a bit delayed for the appointment (about 15 min). Maybe that is why people are upset? I literally minded zero percent because he was so thorough and made me feel negative 100% rushed. I imagine that when you take such attentive care with patients, that you might run a bit behind from time to time. I much prefer that to someone who is barely going to listen to me before rushing me out the door. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Dr. Newport cares and it shows. He understands his field and explains very well. Helped me a lot.

Dr. Newport takes time with his patients, provides excellent education on medication and pregnancy, and is a brilliant physician. I would highly recommend him to any person thinking about having a child or who is currently pregnant and struggling with mental health.

I love Dr. Newport, hate his staff. I can never seem to get a message through to him.He gets them late, even if they are urgent.
