Biography
In 1980, the future Dr. Provenzale, Jr. enrolled as a biology major at Benedictine University. In addition to rigorous study schedule, he played both on the soccer team and held the position of lead trumpeter for the college jazz band during his four years as an undergraduate, also spending one year student-teaching in the Organic Chemistry laboratory. Most notable, however, was an active participation in Student Government, where he held numerous positions throughout college. This culminated in his election to the office of Student Body President, and serving in that capacity during his senior year.
The following four years he attended Loyola University School of Dentistry, an outstanding student graduating near the top of his class. During that time he was employed as a dental laboratory technician fabricating crowns, bridges, and dentures and as a musician on the weekends.
