Pain is a joke to them! They use to care

I have been seeing Dr Roland for about 9 years now.. Dr Roland is very caring... He spends time with you and doesn’t rush u out the door.. He answers ur questions... I would recommend Dr Roland to anyone....He cares about his patients... He has helped me with my pain and explains everything to you well.... I’m honored to call him my doctor.. Most doctors spend 10 minutes with you not Dr Roland he spends as much time as he needs to with every patient.... All I can say to him is Thank you !!!

Not only does he insist on unneeded tests he insists he knows my pain better than I do. After having to undergo a cat scan and other tests it took his staff over a week to get a prescription to my pharmacy. It was for a weaker dose of what I’ve been taking for over a year and so required a multiple dose every day that barely mitigated my pain. It cost me over $400 for a $5 prescription that cost me four times that because they didn’t bother to file for a medical necessity. Then I showed up for my follow up appointment that they set up for a day when he wasn’t even at this location. Incompetent doesn’t even describe the wasted time and money I’ve spent. Looking for an alternative immediately.

I am sure that Doctor Roland is a very fine physician but I have a couple of observations to make. The first one is that he doesn’t appear to care about his patient’s time or the fact that they may have lives equally as important as his. I waited over 40 minutes to be seen and when I asked if waiting that long was typical I was told “oh yes, we’re always busy”. Well so am I. Many doctors just think that they are the most important people in the world. My second point is this. After filling out pages and pages of a questionnaire which delved into my medical history and where my pain was located and after answering the same questions by an aide who first saw me I was asked to put on a gown so the doctor could examine me. Understand that my pain is in my hands and feet and has been that way over 15 years. This apparent urge to see me naked so the pain in my feet could be assessed was ridiculous. I simply got up and left. I have no patience for waiting forty minutes and for… having a pain doctor not listening or reading where my pain is located. Supposedly he needed to examine my back. I have Neuropathy in my hands and feet not my back or buttocks. For me personally this was an indication that this guy didn’t know what he’s doing.

Dr Roland is, by far, the saddest excuse for a doctor. He seems to dislike women. He treats his female staff like dogs. He thinks he knows more than he actually does. He tried to tell me that Lyrica was an antidepressant. It's an anticonvulsant. He treats his patients as if we are beneath him. He seems to forget that he works for us. There is zero chance of being a part of your own care. His ego is larger than the universe. Do not waste your time. This man is pathetic and that is giving him more credit than he deserves!

Terrible to deal with.

Arrogant. Dictates care and rarely expresses concern or sympathy.

Worst bedside manner ever. Get over yourself doctor. Your nurse is as crabby as you are. Both of you need to do something else with your lives.

Dr Kelly is a very nice man,I wish I could see him for my pain management,however his staff is the worst I have EVER encountered.My appointment took over 2 hours,most all of which was spend waiting on the staff.His staff mixed up my records with that of another patient then spoke to me as though I were something less than human,with lots of sighs and dropped shoulders whenever I asked a question .They then proceeded to insult me.When I had had enough and decided to leave the office manager chased me out into the common area and was shouting at me.Will NEVER see that staff again,and it is a shame,because DR Kelly seems to be a very nice Dr.
