Summary
Dr. Selcer has been with Castro Valley Pediatrics for over 20 years. He retired from the practice in June 2012. We are grateful for all his years of dedication to his patients and to the practice. He has a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan and has his medical degree from New York University. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Children's Hospital Oakland. Dr. Selcer has served as Pediatric Department Chair at Eden Hospital and President of the Medical Staff at Children's Hospital Oakland. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Selcer is fluent in Spanish. His interests include gardening, plant collecting, hiking, backpacking,cross country skiing, softball, and reading.
