Dr. Donald Yukwong Siao, MD

I have been a patient of Doctor Donald Siao’s for about a decade. From the very first visit to this day he is exactly the type of doctor I am looking for, and to be honest, require. When he first entered the Exam Room, he shook my hand, introducing himself, then took a seat. Before even touching on the reason for my first visit, Doctor Siao asked questions about me as a person, my life and my family. Not only was he sincerely listening, he remembered it all at my next visit about 4 months later. This tells me that he is interested in the whole person, not just the reason for the visit. It also means that he understands that he understands that knowledge of a person’s everyday life can have effects to one’s health. Double whammy!! Another exceptional aspect of Doctor Siao is that he will spend the time required to help the patient in front of him. This often leads to him falling behind in his schedule. However, if you are current patient of his, you really don’t mind,… because you know he is only doing his ABSOLUTE best for the patient in front of him, and when you are called in, and receive the same level of service. He commonly works through his lunches to catch up, and though his scheduled office hours ending at 17:.00, I have taken his 0last appointed of the day, and he has spent time with my until 19:00. A full 2 hours late. Now, I am not going to lie, not all that time was with me, but it demonstrates his ABSOLUTE commitment to his patients. He is very popular with his patients. His front office staff is VERY efficient, however, given patients dedicated to Doctor Siao, so they can get overwhelmed, which is ABSOLUTELY NOT their fault. It is simple cost of doing business with a very, very good empathetic, companionate, caring about each person as the whole person, how much concern he has for each and every patient’s life. THE Stand Out on staff member is Doctor Donald Siaos absolute Right Hand, probably Left hand as well, Raul. I suppose some people could consider him imposing as he stands about 6’3”. He is actually incredibly thoughtful, caring, compassionate and empathetic. He is fairly soft spoken, very gentle and has a very dry sense of humor, to which I have to say, yes please!! If ANYTHING goes wrong with an insurer, a pharmacy or durable medical goods vendor. Raul WILL get things straightened out within 2 hours, 90% of the time. He is relentless as an advocate for you as a patient if there is the slightest roadblock to you receiving the treatment needs that Doctor Siao has determined necessary for you. Doctor Siao’s Bedside manner is not limited to your previous appointment and your current appointment. He will regularly ask about updates on something you may have mentioned as much as 5 years ago for me. His smile is constant and infectious, which automatically puts me at ease, even when I have had double pneumonia. His laugh, wow, talk about infectious. He laughs at something funny, regardless of how bad you may feel, you simply feel the driving need to join him to join him in laughing! I would never change PCP’s unless the unexpected happens or if he chooses to retire. I am giving him fair warning now. Should he retire, I would by two houses on either side of his house. One for me and my wife. The other for Raul, with one room set up as a perfectly sterile and fully appointed exam room, with an X-Ray machine in the basement, along with a phlebotomist and X-Ray tech.

Speaks to me eye to eye and is a straight shooter.

Hi M.A. always seems like he hates his job never smiles and never calls you back.

Dr. Saio, is a outstanding Doctor. He has been my Doctor and my family's Doctor for over 20 years. There is no words that can compare to his kindness and loyalty to his patients. He will walk the extra mile.

This review is purely based from the awesome treatment my husband has had with the knowledgeable and very friendly Dr Donald Siao. There was a time when our insurance didn't have him as a provider so he had to see different doctors (such unpleasant visits he had) until this time when our insurance has him in the list which brought excitement to both my husband and me. After the visit, my husband had only high praises on how he was still fully remembered after such a long time and was treated accordingly from numerous health issues. Every bit of concern was attended to in addition to such pleasures of talking about some personal stuff as they share the same interests. I'd love to prepare a special menu for Dr Siao but am afraid that he may be so busy to have the time. Knowing how my husband will once again enjoy living healthily is good enough to wish Dr Siao all the best (both professionally and personally). God bless!

He truly is an angel~! He's been my doctor for over 10 years and has seen me thru pregancy, depression, colds, cancer - in every instance, he always takes the time to talk to me & see how I'm doing. He's returned calls on weekends, late night, and is truly someone I can trust to always be there. I wouldn't think of seeing anyone else!
