Dr. Donald Alan Skor, MD

Dr Skor is a fine doctor and a specialist in diabetes issues. Has resolved diabetes issues my former doc could not. Once you get into see him he respects your time and gives you his full attention. Can be difficult to reach with routine non specialty issues.

Always a pleasant experience. Responsive to what you say. Very intelligent - can often make an instant diagnosis that has stumped others. Always follows best practice. Will respond to a challenge and look into your opinion (fear or hope). Refers to fine doctors if needed. Right now has a wonderful nurse practitioner who can help if he is gone. Oversubscribed, so make you appointment as far in advance as you can. Have seen him for over 15 years.

I've been doc's patient for almost 30 years

I see the doctor every three months I am well pleased. He don't rush you. The office staff are very kind. They are very helpful when I have to call. I am blessed to have found this doctor.

After waiting 10-15 minutes to schedule an appointment, I was told that I would have to give then a credit card number to schedule an appointment. Evidently, their time is important, mine is not.

Dr Skor based his recommendations on what was easiest for his office, not what was best for me. This was very disappointing. May be time for him to retire. Patients and their needs should come first!

One of the best doctors I've seen and I've seen a lot.

Dr. Skor is a very impolite doctor that bad-mouthed me and my mother to another of our physicians. He also fights with us over prescribing our needed blood work for my mother. I am looking for another doctor and will not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Skor has always been responsive to my calls and is very concerned about my health in general. He is easy to talk to and communicates well. He is an excellent doctor and I have been going to him for over 20 years.
