th chair side manner of th good doctor is lacking . his abrupt and arrogant manner is not pleasant to experience . in sum ,medically competent perhaps but very short on people skills . on th other hand th hygienist who attended to me was not only knowledgeable but very nice and caring person ..

I found all personnel at this office to be exceptionally friendly and courteous, including Dr. Theriault. There were none of the problems asserted by another reviewer. So far, I am completely satisfied.

While the staff here are exceptionally nice, I found Dr. Theriault to be anything but! After an initial sexist and ageist remark - which I think HE thought was a joke - he proceeded to do his rough periodontal exam in a hurried manner, commenting that he was short-staffed and we needed to "speed things up" because everyone wanted to go home. (I had only been there about 15 minutes of the hour-long exam I had booked!! He hurt me a lot more than a previous dentist although I had told him I had a low pain threshold as well as a fear of dentists. I think he used this information as an excuse to blame me if I was hurting. He was cavalier and pseudo-empathic in his response to my pain and sarcastically asked me if I was "THIS sensitive to pain in other parts of my body as well as my mouth." I would NOT recommend him!
