Dr Walters found a skin cancer on my ear and treated it with the Moh’s Technique. He did a beautiful job fixing the area and it looks great. Such a nice office and staff. Everyone always seems happy to be working there.

I was referred by a friend from Synagogue who sees Dr Walters for many years. I had a spot on my nose that wouldn't heal. The last Dermatologist "froze" it but it still didn't heal. He looked at it carefully and discussed the need for a biopsy. It turned out to be a Basel Cell. He performed Mohs Surgery on it and did a small skin graft and it has healed beautifully. I really can't see where it was. He is an excellent Dermatologist and they have a wonderful staff. They were all very caring and made my visit much less stressful.

Dr Walters is the best Dermatologist I have seen. I have had many skin cancers and he has done a great job. He is a Mohs Surgeon and they have all healed so nicely. He has the best staff and they always treat me like family. I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Beautiful office in the heart of Vestavia. Dr Walters is the best Dermatologist I have seen. Diagnosed my melanoma and removed it shortly thereafter. Did beautiful work and his staff was so kind. Sent all my friends there too.

I have been going to Dr Walters for several years now and have always had a wonderful experience at Brookwood Dermatology. He is a pleasure to see at my twice yearly skin exams. His staff is wonderful too. He is a Mohs Surgeon and has done several skin cancer removals on my parents. The surgeries have always done great. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a Dermatologist! He is one of the best!

I have no problem with the doctor. He’s great. The nurses and assistants are great. It’s the wait time. Be prepared to not be seen for an hour or more after your appointment. Regularly. The only time it was only 15 minutes after the appt was when we had to see a nurse for stitch removal. And it doesn’t matter if you are seeing the doc or PA. That means it’s an office management problem. Maybe they are taking too many walk ins so need longer times between scheduled appointments? I’m seriously thinking about changing my mom to my dermatologist because of the wait time.

Visited Dr Walters after being referred by friends. They spoke very highly of him. He is an excellent Dermatologist and his staff were wonderful as well. He was very throughout and took the time to answer all of my questions. Great bedside manner too. Would highly recommend.

We have been seeing Dr Walters for many years and have referred numerous neighbors and church friends to him. He is obviously is very well trained and has no problems diagnosing anything we have shown him. He is also very pleasant to speak to and takes time to ask about our family whenever we visit him.. He explains everything to us and doesn't make us feel rushed. All of his staff have been with him for a very long time and have always have been very kind and friendly. He specializes in Skin Cancer treatment but we see him for everything involving our skin. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing a Dermatologist.

I had three skin cancers and my Internist referred me to Dr Walters for MOHS Surgery. I was surprised by the time he took putting me at ease explaining everything to me and my husband. Great staff and everyone seems happy to work for him. The surgery did fantastic and I cannot even see where he operated. Highly recommended this Dermatologist!

If you want to be treated by one of the most caring Dermatologists in Birmingham go see Dr Walters. He and his staff are wonderful. He cared for both my Mom and Dad. Very nice and knowledgeable. Excellent surgeon as well.
