Dr. Donard Gregor Haggins, MD

I met Dr Haggins when my daughter was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at a very young age. It has been a difficult and miserable transition for someone that was too active (in a Mom's mind). However, Dr. Haggins has made the transition less difficult with his knowledge of RA and assisting my daughter in coping. Our insurance company wanted her on a regimen that was cheaper and did not work. Additionally, they wanted various medical trials that prevented her from feeling better and walking. Dr Haggins intervened on her behalf with insurance company and she received authorization for a prescription that actually worked. Although my daughter disappointed when he was transferred from Detroit to Taylor, she followed him there. In closing, his former excellent assistant retired and we have since been subjected to extremely rude behavior. They do not follow up, and one is lucky if they get a call back. They should be replaced.

dr haggins spent 5 minutes in the room with me , how does a doctor spend 5 minutes with a new patient and know anything. totally worthless

Worst physician in Michigan!

Dr. Haggins was not knowledgeable with my Lupus and rather than following up on topics on which he was unfamiliar, his standard response has been "let's give it 6 weeks". He didn't listen to me when I explained my pain and responded that my test results showed no issues.
