Dr. Donn Richard Browne, MD

I'm new to the area and took my children to see Dr. Brown. On this specific occasion I took my child to see Dr. Brown because he was really congested. Well, he realized he was wheezing and was having difficulties breathing. He did not subscribe any medications. The next day my child was still having trouble breathing so I took him to urgent care and he was diagnosed with asthma and now I have to continue to give him breathing treatments. I don't understand why he couldn't figure that out.

Well, first of all Dr. Browne is my has been both of my daughter's primary physician for 2yrs. The wait time is usually 45 min. to an hour. He's always busy. For instance, my daughters appointment was at 11am, I got there at 10:30 and had 2 people infront of me and he wallked in the office at 11:10am. I took my daughter to him 3 times for her irritation of the skin & each time he told me something different & prescribed anti-biotics each time. Finally, I took her to urgent care & she had eczema. To top it off the Dr. @ urgent care said that he didn't record that I took her to him 3x's that he wrote that I took her in 2x's & her skin was clear both times! That was way off because why did he perscribe me anti-biotics each time!? That's not all, just yesterday I took my daughter in for pink eye. Well, today she has an ear infection.. Why didn't he notice that yesterday? He did not check her ears. He is not a thorough doctor and is rude when you question him or confront him of his… mistakes. I would not recommend him if you care about your child's health.

After living in several counties, I am finally grateful that I found an excellent pediatrician in Ventural County! He took his time with my child and was sensitive to both my needs as a mother and the baby's. He was very sweet with my baby and gave me useful information.
