Dr. Donna Louise Bacon, MD

I have been going to Dr. Bacon for probably 20 years now and can't say enough how satisfied I am with her and her staff. Gloria is amazing, kind, and always helpful to me. If I could rate her with this 5 star, I would say she deserves a 10 star. Dr. Bacon always takes the time to sit and talk and discuss options, she's always available via email, has never not seen me when I was in need, and is quite frank and open about anything I need to know. I love her and her staff and hope she is with me till my dying days!

I have never had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Bacon since I was turned away with a nasty message on my phone from Gloria who I guess is an appointment setter/phone person. I had left a message at Dr. Bacon's office to return a call that I had made since I was a new patient. The next day Gloria from the office left me a message stating that she 'did' return my message and that I wouldn't be a good fit for her office, and to go elsewhere with my business. What?!?! I was shocked to hear that so I saved the message if anyone had a question about it. (It is still saved to this day) Hopefully, Dr. Bacon has heard this type of behavior from other clients because this horrible attitude that Gloria has is not good for a customer service representative and will only hurt her business.

I never had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Bacon after I received a nasty voicemail from one of her employees named Gloria. I requested a simple return my call message, and the next day she stunned me with a voice mail (that I have saved in my phone) stating that she did call me and that I wouldn't be a good fit for her office, and I should go to another practitioner. What?!?! How is this any way to treat a new, first-time patient? Hopefully, Dr. Bacon has heard these complaints from others. Gloria needs to be in a business that is not customer service or secretary.

Dr. Bacon keeps herself up-to-date on everything. She’s knowledgeable, thorough, gentle, honest (brutally if need be, but she’s so nice and caring when she is brutal that you hardly notice the bruises to your ego!), caring—this woman is fabulous. And I tend to dislike doctors quite a bit. Her scheduler/receptionist is lovely. Dr. Bacon’s nurse, Gloria, can take a bit to get used to as she comes on a bit strong, but she does this in order to keep Dr. Bacon on schedule, and she’s very good at doing that! I don’t believe Dr. Bacon double-books; she has always taken her time with me and always recalls what we have spoken about previously, even if it wasn’t medical-related. I highly recommend this practice, because it is perfect (y’all see what I did there, right?).

She was very unhuman to me didnt try to calm me down i am petrified of doctors she looked at me like i had no clue about my rhumitoid arthritis and was very un friendly i was a new patient and was totaly treated like i was some kind of disease

I received personal attention when my lab results were available, and Dr Bacon spent her time explaining every nuance of the entire report to me. Also, Dr Bacon surprised me when I left a question on her online patient portal, and she quickly responded several times, and arranged for a prescription - on Saturday and Sunday!

I've been going to Dr. Bacon for about two years and it has been a pleasant surprise to know that I can actually have a doctor that I connect with and can talk to about anything. While I have had no life-threatening health problems, she has been very receptive to listening when I have had some health issues and to work with me on resolving those issues. She also talks to me about lifestyle changes to reduce stress and encourages me to make those changes.

Dr. Bacon talks to her patients and discusses treatment options. I have been a patient of hers for several years. She has always taken her time with me and never rushed. Her nurse is wonderful. She is very kind and compassionate. They make a great team and I am so thankful that I have found both of them.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bacon to my family and friends.
