Dr. Donna S Benford, DO

Incompetent office staff and apathetic doctor. Been going here for a while and never really been pleased with the doctor. She had a really good nurse practitioner and she left (makes sense why she left now). Recently I was scheduled with an MRI provider 3 weeks ahead. Bedford's office was supposed to send a insurance pre approval and never did. The MRI provider contacted them again a week before my procedure and told them to send it in and still nothing. Got a call 3 days before my procedure and was told by MRI provider they could not keep my appointment because my primary care never sent in the approval. Called Benford's office and they lied to me and told me that the MRI people had just that day sent in the request. Bedford's office knowing full well they are part of a PHO that they are responsible for this just didn't do it. I got upset (didn't swear) and told her that I don't care what they have to do I want my MRI and I am not willing to wait another 3 weeks because they messed… up. The office lady just hung up on me. After that I called and spoke to the office manager and she made excuses and to why that was acceptable. I decided at that point it was time to change doctors. Don't go here if you want good care and a doctor that gives a crap. Office staff is reflection on how the doctor works and it shows. Go someplace else.

I have been seeing Dr. Benford for over 10 years. She is very compassionate and caring Doctor. The office can be very busy at time s so you may think she doesn't spend enough time with you. She listens to what I have to say, and always finds a solution for my needs The staff also has a tough job with answering phones, checking in patients and checking out patients. I give her 10 stars!! Many thanks to Dr. Benford and her staff!

Listens to her patients, will work to find the issue and resolve it. She will refer you to where you need to go not worried about PHO and referrals

Excellent physician, very detailed orientated. Awesome to talk to regarding health issues you might be having or facing in the future.

Terrible staff, terrible doctor, no bedside manner.

The Staff are rude and I think quite possibly this is the worse doctors office i have ever been to Dr.Benford in the room with you a few minutes its just not a doctors office i would recommend to anyone ! WORD OF THE WISE GET NEW STAFF BECAUSE THERE RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL!

Dr. Benford has cut her hours. She now has two NPs several days a week and another doctor there a half a day a week. She's always in a rush.

Dr. Benford has been my doctor for the last 4-years. She is prompt an professional. She has a good listening ear, she follows up by contacting me personally when there is any concern with any tests I've taken.

She leaves a lot of time for questions and concerns. Easy to reach.
