Dr. Donna Elaine Brosbe, MD

If it weren't for a PA in the practice who we like very much, we would never return. We took our newborn to her first pediatric visit 5 days after giving birth and Dr. Brosbe confused her DOB and thought she was a month old. We had no idea of the error until we got home after she sent us for testing and lectured us on not feeding our child. She gave us formula even though I was trying to exclusively breastfeed. I was hormonal and being a new parent, I truly thought I had done something wrong so I just cried and followed her recommendations. Once home, we started checking our papers from the visit and they had our baby's DOB incorrect so she essentially advised us as if we had a one month old weighing less than the birth weight. Mind you, we went over her DOB and I told her I gave birth 5 days previously. Additionally, I'm not sure if she was judging us but she also assumed we would be using WIC - two parents who work hard and have never depended on government assistance. Our baby is… great and healthy thankfully but the experience left a lot to be desired.
