“Personalized quality care for each patient is of the utmost importance to me and my staff. Dr. Donna Gottwald received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1988. She then went on to complete a residency in Advanced General Dentistry in 1989. She is currently a member of the San Antonio District Dental Society, The American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Gottwald Family Dentistry has been serving the citizens of Helotes, San Antonio, and surrounding areas since 2000. Working with her friendly and supportive staff, Dr. Gottwald offers comprehensive dental care services …utilizing the latest technology in a pleasant environment. Additionally, Dr. Gottwald has been recognized as an Invisalign Premier Provider, placing her among the top five percent of Invisalign practitioners in North America. Premier Provider status indicates to our patients and to the community that not only are we among the most experienced Invisalign practices in the country, but we are also committed to staying current with the latest Invisalign treatment techniques. That leadership reflects the standard of care that patients can expect from our practice.
Dr. Gottwald works closely with Dr. Richard Finlayson, a board certified periodontist, and Dr. JD Simonton, a resident of the endodontic program at UTHSCSA, to provide her patients with specialty care. Dr Gottwald opens her office to schedule appointments for specialty care on Saturdays to accommodate her patients’ needs.
Dr. Gottwald remains an active member in the community. She belongs to the Helotes Festival Association participating in the annual Cornyval Festival and Parade, The Helotes Area Merchant and Business Association, and the Optimist Club. She has received numerous awards over the years for her generous donations, and community support.
As a resident of Grey Forest, Dr. Gottwald enjoys gardening, tending to her newly planted orchard, and spending time with her friends and many pets. She also enjoys yoga, water aerobics, and attending social events in her free time.
