Dr. Haney takes up plenty of time with my elderly mother (more than you would ever believe). She knows when a patients problem is beyond her scope of expertise and doesn't hesitate to refer you to a specialist. I would recommend her to any adult needing a family physician.

Dr. Haney has been my primary care doctor for several years, and she has always been thorough and addressed my symptoms. She follows up with appropriate tests and treats each diagnosis appropriately. She spends time with each patient and listens to their concerns.

I was a patient of Dr. Haney's from a young age and continued seeing her for about fifteen years as my primary care physician. While her diagnoses and willingness to prescribe medication are both acceptable, she herself has very little professionalism or loyalty. If you encounter a health problem or insurance problem, you can expect her to do the bare minimum to help you. She makes it very clear during casual conversation with patients that her profession makes her unhappy, and she places politics before the wellbeing of her patients. After being a patient for fifteen years, I switched to an insurance plan that she disagrees with politically (Affordable Care Act marketplace plan) and as such she has refused to do any business with me, even to help me transition elsewhere. As a result, I went through weeks worth of medication withdrawal (nausea, shaking, difficulty breathing, mood swings, etc), and when she was informed of this, she quite clearly didn't care. A friend of mine with a… different marketplace insurance plan even offered to pay her cash out of pocket, and Dr. Haney still refused to treat her, even though this particular patient has life threatening illnesses and Dr. Haney is the nearest doctor to her. In other words, Dr. Haney seems like a good option on the surface for casual treatment, but if you encounter any emergencies or difficulty with insurance, don't expect any help from her because she very much doesn't care about you as an individual.
