Summary
I am a nurse practitioner working in women’s health for the past 19 years -- 14 as a nurse practitioner in a gynecologic oncology practice caring for women with cancer and the past 5 years at Stoneridge. My philosophy of care is to treat each patient as an individual. I strive to provide the best care possible. I want my patients to feel valued, cared for and heard. I try to really listen to their concerns and include them in decision making and allowing them to be partners in their health care.
I enjoy the diversity of caring for women at all stages of their life. I have a particular soft spot for adolescents and young women coming in for gyn care. I believe their first experience sets them up for how they view their gyn appointments for the rest of their lives.
Having raised two daughters, I know how hard the teen and early adult years can be. I want my patients to feel comfortable and to know no topic is off limits, there are no dumb questions, and nothing is too …embarrassing to discuss. I want to treat patients like one of my own family members. One of the best compliments I received was when a patient said, “You’re like my gyno mom.” Mission accomplished!
I graduated with my BSN from DeSales University and worked as a critical care nurse for 3 years. I then became chemotherapy certified and worked in a medical oncology practice administering chemotherapy for 13 years.
I had always wanted to become a nurse practitioner to provide a higher level of care, so I went back to school part time while working and raising my family. I graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University with a MSN as a certified registered nurse practitioner. I am board certified as an adult health nurse practitioner and still maintain my certification as an advanced oncology nurse.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. I am fortunate that they live close by. You can find us shopping or going out to eat on weekends. Summer vacations at Lake Wallenpaupack or the beach at Cape May. A winter ski get away. I personally have not skied for years but enjoy taking in the beautiful scenery or curling up with a good book by the fire while they hit the slopes.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews
Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.
Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.
Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
