The worst staff ever, My time waiting inside the exam room is over 50 min.

My son is now a young man. However, when we were visiting Dr Miller for his healthcare, things were not always the best. It seems Dr Miller may be just fine if your child is typically developing, but if your child has a situation that is not usual, there may be more problems. At my child's physical at age 2 years, I expressed my deep concern that my child was not speaking much at all. I felt that Dr Miller did not appreciate my serious concerns. I felt that she was patronizing & dismissive. I felt that she was not respectful of my concern & dismissed my opinion and was patronizing. She said to "just wait" and that there would be an "explosion" of speech in his next year of development. Well, at his physical at 3 years of age, when he was still barely speaking, Dr. Miller seemed to "perk up" and was a little more interested in my concerns. She referred us for speech therapy. When relaying the circumstances to the speech therapist, after the speech therapist had been… working with my son, the speech therapist asked me not to say anything to Dr Miller, but, the speech therapist agreed that he should have been in much sooner for therapy. I am still quite unhappy with what happened, and am angry that my son lost a year of speech development at a crucial time in a young child's life for speech development. I have since learned a great deal. I have learned that generally I know my child best, and that if I have concerns that a doctor is not addressing, then I need to leave that doctor quickly, to not waste time, to seek treatment elsewhere and to research and find another doctor who does understand the situation. My son's development has "turned out" to be long, complex, and not easy. But, with a great deal of effort, our family has been able to find a range of professionals (medical, educational, etc.) who have helped & guided us immensely. He probably has the "best shot" at life now because of all of the intensive help, therapy, and guidance he has received. I wish everyone the best in searching & receiving the best care possible for their children.

Dr. Miller is extraordinary -- she has cared for all three of my children and we think she's done an outstanding job.

If only we didn't have to wait so long to be seen , it would be a great experience! Never had any problems with the doctor or staff.

She has been the doctor to all three of my kids. I have never had a problem getting an quick appointment, nor have I had to wait to long in the office. She puts my kids at ease, ask me about their health as well as asking the kids directly and makes them feel like thier opinions are valid and important. I can't imagine a better doctor.
