Dr. Donna Kay Nelson

I had a few problems and she seemed "put off" by that, stating that I had an appointment for other issues. I was her first patient of the day and she was late to see me. I sat in the room 20 minutes. She told me that maybe we needed to set another appointment for my other issues. She seemed condescending - like I didn't know what I was talking about in relation to what was happening in my own body - like it couldn't be happening. Maybe she isn't used to people that are intuitive. It is too bad because I think she is probably smart enough but she thinks she is smarter than her patients. For one, she is not smarter than me. I think she sees herself as better because she is a doctor. Everyone has a specialty. Hers is health care. Big deal. I am a vice president of a Fortune 500 Company. She came recommended from a friend. Maybe when she got out of medical school, people bowed down to her. She needs to get up to speed. I didn't feel she wanted to integrate what was happening - just wanted… to treat my symptoms. That doesn't work for me. I am sure she is fine - not a good fit for me. I have a need to be heard. She seemed to have a need to be self righteous. Her receptionist is very nice and personable though. Not a bad wait time to see her.
