Dr. Donna Lee Simmers-Dabinett, DO

Zero stars should be an option for this “doctor.” She endangered my life and thought it was a joke and absolutely refused to care for me and when I got upset she put a psych hold on me (and no I wasn’t screaming or swearing I was crying and asking for help or a transfer to Cooper as I had no other way to get there) that the psych team said was not at all necessary. They also commented that she wasn’t honest when she signed that I was medically cleared to psych, which is a requirement. After getting out of the hold I was immediately taken to Cooper where I spent 16 days (away from my young son) trying to recover from the damage she exacerbated by not only refusing to care for me herself, but blocking me from getting care anywhere else with the hold. She’s dangerous and cruel and I wouldn’t trust her to care for a rock, let alone a human being.

Our experience and level of care from Dr. Simmers-Dabinettthe and the entire Inspira ER staff was great.
